Refugee children and mothers welcomed a joyous Easter with the Ukrainian home in Varna thanks to a donation from DSK Bank

In mid-April, we sent a BGN 10,000 donation to the Ukrainian Home in Varna via our BCause Foundation partners. The funds will be used to provide humanitarian assistance to the hundreds of refugees who have arrived in the maritime capital. In addition to providing clothing, shoes, food, and diapers, the volunteers were able to organize an Easter holiday for Ukrainian mothers and children.

The Ukrainian home bought 2,500 eggs and other necessary products for the holiday. With them, volunteers baked 1,100 Easter cakes. More than 1,000 children and mothers staying in different hotels came all day to the Zora Hotel in Golden Sands, where they painted eggs and ate Easter cakes. There were also treats and sweets for the children.

A prayer for peace and health was also served.
