General duties

• Learns and applies the Internal Audit Department’s methodology and Bank regulations during audit engagements.
• Assists senior auditors and audit managers in preparing audit programs and working papers.
• Helps review basic documents, processes, and transactions to support testing activities.
• Collects and organizes audit evidence under direct supervision.
• Supports the team in spotting potential risks and control weaknesses.
• Attends interviews and meetings with auditees for learning purposes and takes minutes.
• Assists in preparing drafts for audit reports and other departmental documents.
• Aids the team in tracking the implementation status of past audit recommendations.
• Participates in data analysis, research tasks, and other department-specific initiatives.
• Actively develops foundational knowledge of banking operations, risk management, and regulations.

Requirements

• 3rd or 4th year student Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Law, Business Administration
• Interest in finance would be considered an advantage
• Very good oral and written English skills
• Interest in internal audit, risk management, governance, and banking processes
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and writing skills
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to develop professionally
