Junior Scrum Master
Head office Sofia
General duties:
- Build and develop high-performing, self-organizing teams that drive organizational effectiveness.
- Guide and coach up to two Agile teams (of minor to medium complexity) in adopting and applying Agile and Scrum values, principles, and best practices.
- Protect Agile teams from external disruptions and support the removal of impediments to achieving their goals.
- Create a trusting and safe environment where issues can be raised openly without fear of blame or retribution, fostering problem-solving and collaboration.
- Improve transparency and facilitate communication across the organization.
- Coach Product Owners in effective backlog management, goal-setting, and value maximization.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Support the planning and execution of Scaled Agile events (e.g., PI Planning, Super Demo, and other bank-wide quarterly events).
- Actively contribute to the Agile Transformation by refining processes, Ways of Working, Agile-at-Scale practices, playbooks, templates, and more.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of Agile teams data for various reporting purposes.
- Perform additional duties as required while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a (Junior) Scrum Master, Project Manager, PMO Specialist, Business Analyst, or similar role within teams of at least 5-6 members operating in business/product development, software development, BPO, or related fields.
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I, PMI-ACP, SAFe® Scrum Master) or Agile Coaching certification is a strong advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and practices, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe®, LeSS) is a plus.
- Advanced in using MS O365 Applications and Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro, Mural.
- Ability to drive change and continuously challenge teams to improve.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize information and present to various stakeholders, including senior management.
- Strong people skills, with the ability to engage with diverse viewpoints.
- High Emotional Intelligence (self-awareness, empathy, motivation, and social skills) to foster collaboration in a complex corporate environment.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
