Product Owner – Mobile Banking Business Clients
Head Office, Sofia
General duties:
Product Vision and Backlog Management:
• Define and communicate the vision for the product, ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives;
• Maintain a clear and prioritized product backlog that reflects the goals and needs of stakeholders and users;
Client and Stakeholder Collaboration
• Engage with clients to understand their needs, pain points, and desires;
• Collaborate with sales teams and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements;
Agile Development Leadership
• Work closely with the development team to translate opportunities into user epics and stories;
• Act as the Scrum Product Owner in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives;
Performance Monitoring and Compliance
• Monitor the product performance, gather user feedback, and implement changes to enhance usability and functionality;
• Measure the impact of product updates and maintain a focus on key metrics, including user adoption and engagement;
• Ensure that the app complies with regulatory requirements, data security standards, and industry best practices;
Requirements:
Educational and Professional Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field;
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Product Owner) are a plus.
Experience and Expertise;
• 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar role, ideally within financial services or mobile app development;
• Proven track record of delivering digital products for B2B or business-focused user bases.
• Familiarity with mobile app development processes, API integrations, and user interface design principles;
• Understanding of banking and financial services products is highly desirable;

• Proficiency in using data to inform decisions, evaluate product performance, and identify areas for improvement;

• Ability to clearly articulate product vision, requirements, and updates to technical and non-technical audiences;

• Deep understanding of business client needs and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences;

Agile Expertise
• Expertise in Agile methodologies, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
