Business Development Team Lead, Sofia
Head office Sofia
General duties:
- Leading the Business development team in the area of secured payments acceptance (POS acquiring) and solutions helping the business customers digitalize their turnover
- Identify strategic initiative, build a pipeline of prioritized deals and manage the Business Development funnel across all channels and segments
- Responsible for the business and product development, as well as product governance
- Develop commercial proposals and design tailored product solutions based on detailed understanding of business customers’ needs, working closely with internal stakeholders like sales, marketing, compliance and operations
- Develop a plan for CRM, marketing and PR activities in common with Marketing / PR unit
- Close collaboration with Sales Managers Lead for the KPIs, P&L and Business plan for growth
- Set up of Digital Sales campaigns and results tracking
- Perform market and business analysis
- Responsible for the dedicated health P&L and customers’ portfolio
- Product profitability model set up
- Gather feedback on how to enhance our product and services
- Process change according to new legislation requirements in a way to find optimal solutions from customers perspective
- Manage the day to day activities of the team
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business and product development in FinTech or Cards and Payments industry;
- Experience managing a team (5-7 people) or big project (e.g. experienced project manager)
- Entrepreneurial and commercial mind set – always looking for business opportunities and an ability to solve complex problems
- Able to execute on plans within a fast-paced dynamic tech environment
- Strong operations management experience, ideally in the payments industry
- Excellent communication skills and personal qualities of integrity, credibility and quality
- Fluent English – written and spoken
- University degree in marketing, finance, accounting or business administration, negotiation and presentation skills;
- Excellent computer skills – MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to present complex information
- A good team player, capable of working in a fast-paced pressured environment
