What types of transfers can we provide?

We provide international credit transfers using the SEPA system for real-time gross settlement TARGET 2 or through our correspondent accounts (so-called SWIFT transfer).

We offer individually negotiated exchange rates for larger amounts, as well as for transfers in currencies other than the original currency in which the account was opened.

We maintain correspondent accounts in the following major currencies: EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, CAD, SEK, RUB, RSD, JPY, TRY, PLN, RON, CZK, NOK, DKK, AUD, CNY. A list of correspondent banks can be found here.

Currency transfers can be initiated quickly and easily online with DSK Direct, PC banking Multicash, or MT101.

We execute transfers ordered by 2 p.m. in euros and US dollars on the same business day. Transfers in euros and US dollars ordered after 2 p.m. are executed on the next business day. Transfers in currencies other than euros and US dollars are usually received within two business days.

As a direct member of the TARGET 2 payment system for real-time settlement of payments in euros, we offer express transfers in euros to banks in the EEA and immediate crediting of the recipient's bank.

What else should you know about international transfers?

You must provide the bank with at least the following information in order to make a transfer in euros to a country within the EEA:

  • Name and IBAN of the recipient
  • Reason for payment
  • Other documents (if necessary), in accordance with the applicable currency legislation


You need to provide the following information to make a transfer in a currency for a country outside the EEA (third country):

  • SWIFT code (BIC), name and address of the recipient's bank
  • Recipient's name and IBAN or recipient's account number
  • Full address of the recipient
  • Reason for payment
  • Other documents – pro forma invoice, contract, BNB registration forms, etc. – are required depending on the transfer amount and the recipient's country.


You must provide the payer with at least the following information in order to receive a transfer from your counterparty with a payment service provider in the EEA:

  • Name and IBAN of the recipient
  • Full address of the recipient


You must provide the payer with the following information in order to receive a transfer from your counterparty from a payment service provider outside the EEA:

  • SWIFT code of DSK Bank
  • Name and IBAN of the recipient
  • Full address of the recipient
