DSK Bank Customers Can Deposit BGN Cash Without Fees from August 1 to November 30 2025
From August 1 to November 30, 2025, individual clients of DSK Bank will be able to deposit Bulgarian lev in cash into their personal accounts at the bank without a fee.
The campaign covers BGN cash deposits made at DSK Bank branches and ATMs with deposit functionality. Thus, on January 1, 2026, when Bulgaria adopts the euro, the funds will be converted into euros automatically and free of charge.
This will happen at the fixed exchange rate of 1.95583 leva per 1 euro.
No restrictions apply to the amount deposited, but card deposits at deposit-enabled ATMs have a daily limit of BGN 9,775.
“With the preferential terms introduced by DSK Bank from August 1 to November 30, we aim to assist our clients in the transition to the euro. We encourage them to deposit their available lev into their accounts — this is the safest and most convenient way to prepare for the upcoming switch to the euro,” said Tsvetoslav Dimov, Chief Financial Officer of DSK Bank.
The campaign does not include coin deposits or deposits made by third parties.
For the same period, from August 1 to November 30, 2025, an additional option is available.
Clients of DSK Bank who open a Salary or Pension Plan will have their monthly service fees waived until June 30, 2026. The plans include free ATM withdrawals every month, as well as fee-free transfers and utility bill payments.
This way, clients can benefit from more favorable terms for their everyday banking during the transition period to the euro.
