Payment Account for Basic Operations

• to use services through electronic banking.

What do you need to know?

• We offer debit card and online banking options;
• This account does not offer an overdraft facility (credit limit) or a savings component.

What should you do?

To open a payment account for basic operations, visit the office that is most convenient for you. No minimum amount is required to open an account.

The bank may refuse to open a basic account if you already have:

• such an account with DSK Bank or another bank in Bulgaria;
• more than one account (at DSK Bank or another bank) through which you can use all the services specified in Article 118, paragraph 1 of the Payment Services and Payment Systems Act (PSPSA).

Exceptions are cases where the customer has been notified that their current account will be closed.

The funds in this account are protected by the Bank Deposit Guarantee Act. The fund guarantees that if something happens to the bank, you will get all your money back, but no more than 196,000 leva per person in one bank, regardless of how many accounts you have there.

The fees are in accordance with the current bank's tariff.
