How to activate your card:

At DSK Bank's ATM

To activate your card at a DSK Bank ATM, use the PIN code you received via Viber/SMS message* from DSK Bank.

Go to a DSK Bank ATM and follow the steps:

Select New Card

Enter the PIN code you have chosen for the card

Step 4

Confirm the PIN code you have chosen

Step 5

Enter the temporary PIN code you received via Viber/SMS

Step 6

Once the steps are completed successfully, a message will appear confirming that the card is activated

* If you haven't received this message, you need to contact a bank employee at a branch.

I want to change the delivery office. How can I do it?

1. Log into DSK Direct, Cards section.

2. Select your Mastercard for which you've received a message. Click the down arrow next to the card image.

4. Click the panel with the listed address and select a new one from the dropdown menu. Save it, and you're done!

* If you have more than one card, you’ll need to change the delivery office for each card. If you don’t use DSK Direct, you can visit a DSK Bank office or contact our Contact Center. Be sure to do this within the deadline specified in the message.
I received a message that my card is at the bank branch, but I would prefer it to be delivered to my address by courier. Is this possible?

Cards delivered to the branch cannot be transferred to another location or sent by courier. Courier delivery can only be requested for a card that has not yet been issued, either to a DSK Bank office convenient for you or by calling the Contact Center.

I missed the deadline to change the branch for card pickup. What should I do?

After the deadline has passed, the card is directed to the originally specified branch. You can request a new card free of charge at a DSK Bank branch convenient for you or through the Contact Center.

I received a message that my card is at a DSK Bank branch, but I am currently on vacation. How many days do I have to pick it up?

After the new Visa card is issued, you will have 2 months to pick it up. For example, if you receive a message that the card is being produced in June, it will be available for pickup until the end of August.

My card is at a branch that is not convenient for me. How can I change the pickup branch?

You can request a new card at a DSK Bank branch that is convenient for you or through the Contact Center.

How much does the delivery cost?

You don’t pay for the delivery via Econt, unless there is more than one redirection. The first redirection is free of charge.

What does one free redirection mean?

The free redirection is the first change to the initially set location for receiving your card, which you can make, either to a new address or to a courier company’s office. Any subsequent change will incur a charge, to be paid directly to Econt – either at their office or to the courier when receiving the card.

What happens if I miss the courier?

Econt will attempt to reach you 3 times within 7 days. If the delivery is unsuccessful within this period, the card will be redirected to a DSK Bank branch. Once it arrives, you will receive a notification from the bank with the exact address so you can pick it up.

I redirected my card to an Econt office. How much time do I have to pick it up?

The usual period for picking up your card from an Econt office is 7 calendar days. After this period, the card will be redirected to a DSK Bank branch. Once the card arrives, you will receive a notification from the bank with the exact address so you can pick it up.

How much do I owe if I need to make a second or third redirection?

The cost will be according to Econt’s standard tariff, and the amount is paid directly to the courier or at the courier company’s office.

How can I track my card sent by courier?

If you received a message that your card has been produced and sent by Econt, you can track your shipment using the tracking number here. No registration is required.

I digitized my card via DSK Mobile, do I still need the physical card?

Yes, you do. The physical card is needed for withdrawing/depositing money at ATMs. Also, you can use it in case you forget or lose your mobile device.

My old card was added to my digital wallet - Apple Pay/Google Wallet. Will the new one automatically replace it?

The new card will need to be added again, and the easiest way to do that is through DSK Mobile.

What happens to cards added for subscription payments or one-click payments with merchants?

When the old cards are closed, they will stop working. Add your new Visa card with the respective merchants to continue using your subscriptions and one-click payments.

How can I add my new card to a mobile wallet?

Log into your DSK Mobile app, go to the Cards menu, and under each card, you’ll find an Add to Apple Pay/Google Wallet button. Click it and follow the steps.

Will there be any fees related to the replacement of my credit card?

No, the card replacement comes at no additional cost to you.

Will my due date change?

No, your due date will remain the same as the one you selected when the credit card was issued.

Will my interest rate change?

No, your interest rate will stay exactly as it is now.

What happens to the cashback I’ve accumulated?

Cashback is accumulated at the client level, so you won’t lose the amount you've earned. It remains available and you’ll continue to collect rewards as before.

I have a lot of Wizz points, will I lose them?

No, all your accumulated points will remain valid, and you can continue earning and using them as before.

Will I lose free access to airport lounges that came with my Platinum Mastercard credit card?

Your new Platinum Visa card automatically includes access to the Lounge Key program, through which Visa offers free access to several premium lounges worldwide. You can find more details here.

Visits to lounges outside of this selection are available at a special rate of €30 per person.

Where can I use my new Visa card from DSK Bank?

Your new Visa card can be used for purchases at merchants, including online, as well as for withdrawing and depositing funds at ATMs. DSK Bank does not impose territorial restrictions on card usage, so you can use it anywhere in the world where Visa is accepted.

What will happen to my old card?

Your Mastercard will be deactivated within a week after activating your new Visa card. Please note that if you do not get your new Visa card, your existing Mastercard will be blocked, and you will be notified in advance.

I live abroad and won’t be returning to Bulgaria in the next 6 months. How can I receive my new Visa card?

We want you to have access to your funds. Log in to your DSK Mobile app, locate your new Visa card, and digitize it. The digitized card can be used for online purchases and can be added to a digital wallet.

Please note that to use it at ATMs, you must receive the physical card and PIN code. DSK Bank can send a card abroad under certain conditions. For questions regarding international delivery, please contact the Call Center.

I’ve made purchases with my old card and I’m expecting a refund. Will I receive it?

Refunds from reservations, tickets, and other credit operations will be processed to the account to which the card was issued. You will not lose any refunded amounts, even if they were made using a deactivated card.

Can I choose exactly when my card will be replaced?

We would like to honor the preferences of all our customers, but this will not be possible. Please expect a message from us when the time for your card replacement approaches.

I have more than one Mastercard, but I haven’t received notifications about replacing all of them. When should I expect information about my other cards?

All your cards will be replaced with a new Visa card. However, for certain specific types - such as student or faculty cards - the replacement may happen in 2026.
