Edina Berlinger

Edina Berlinger has been a member of the Supervisory Board of DSK Bank since August 2024.

Edina Berlinger is a prominent financial expert and academic with extensive experience in finance and risk management.

She graduated from Corvinus University of Budapest, where she earned a master’s degree in finance and a PhD in economics with distinction. From 2008 to 2022, she was Head of the Department of Finance at Corvinus University, and since 2023, she has been a research fellow at the University of Luxembourg, working on projects related to sustainable finance and social entrepreneurship.

She has been an active member of several (sub)committees of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences since 2008 and has served as a consultant on student loan projects in Bulgaria (2008) and other European countries.

In addition to her academic work, Edina Berlinger has substantial experience as a consultant to governments and financial institutions across Europe. She has worked on the design and implementation of student loan systems in Bulgaria, Albania, and Hungary, as well as on validating risk models for KELER, the Hungarian Central Counterparty.

She is the recipient of the “Award for the Development of Hungarian Capital Markets” (2013) and the “Research Excellence Award” from Corvinus University (2021 and 2022).
