Edina Berlinger
Edina Berlinger has been a member of the Supervisory Board of DSK Bank since August 2024.
Edina Berlinger is a prominent financial expert and academic with extensive experience in finance and risk management.
Her career began at Corvinus University, where she later became a Professor of Finance and served as the Head of the Department from 2008 to 2022. Since 2023, she has been a Research Fellow at the University of Luxembourg, working on projects related to sustainable finance and social entrepreneurship.
She has been an active member of several (sub)committees of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences since 2008 and has served as a consultant on student loan projects in Bulgaria (2008) and other European countries.
In addition to her academic work, Edina Berlinger has substantial experience as a consultant to governments and financial institutions across Europe. She has worked on the design and implementation of student loan systems in Bulgaria, Albania, and Hungary, as well as on validating risk models for KELER, the Hungarian Central Counterparty.
She has received numerous awards, including the "Research Excellence" awards from Corvinus University in 2021 and 2022, and the "For the Development of Hungarian Capital Markets" award in 2013. Edina Berlinger continues to be a leading expert in finance and sustainable development.
She graduated from Corvinus University in Budapest, where she earned a Master's degree in Finance and a Ph.D. in Economics with distinction.
