Consultations and assistance:
We know that in difficult times, humanity and empathy are the driving force behind those in need. Our joint fundraising campaign with BCause Foundation has started on March 14th, 2022. You can help by donating an amount of your choice to:
Beneficiary: BCause Foundation for Charity
Reason: Support to Ukraine
How will we use the collected funds?
Humanitarian aid for refugees in Bulgaria
Even if they find shelter, refugees need everything necessary for survival:
- Overheads - electricity and water for those who are accommodated in private apartments;
- Funds for daily needs - food, sanitary materials, medicines including clothing, shoes. For children - diapers, baby food, etc.;
- Support for educational initiatives - Bulgarian language courses for children and the elderly and support for starting work;
- Psychological help in Russian or Ukrainian.
For the victims of the war in Ukraine
Although some manage to leave Ukraine, there are still many who remain in the country. They need:
- Medicines, hemostatic, bandages, canned food, sleeping bags, thermal blankets, thermal underwear, chargers, diapers and baby food.
- Humanitarian aid for chronically ill people in need of special care - food and medicine. For children in Ukraine - antivirals and other drugs, bandages, food packages, clothing and basic necessities, diapers, milk powder.
BCause Foundation will distribute the aid in coordination with Bulgarian and Ukrainian charities working in the field in both countries. The amount raised so far is nearly BGN 34,000. See how the funds are distributed here.
Why we team up with BCause Foundation?
BCause Foundation is one of the largest non-governmental organizations in Bulgaria and works with a wide network of other organizations directly involved in the cause. Our partnership with them allows us to reach more people in need.
As a sign of solidarity with our colleagues from Ukraine, we organized an internal fundraising initiative.
The amount raised by our team so far is nearly BGN 75,000. DSK Bank will double the funds and they will be donated to provide basic necessities and shelter for our colleagues and their relatives from Ukraine.
We all are not just employees, but people who recognize the difficulties that our colleagues, friends, neighbors face, and we are ready to lend a hand and help. That is why we are launching a Volunteer Program among our colleagues to encourage them to help those affected by the war in Ukraine.
