Technical upgrade of our systems: Questions and Answers

Who will be affected by the planned system upgrade?

Individual and business clients of DSK Bank.


Which services will be available during the upgrade period?

Cash withdrawals at ATMs and card payments, including digital wallet payments, at POS terminals in physical retail locations.

 

Which services will be temporarily limited?

  • Mobile (DSK Smart, DSK Mobile, and DSK Business) and online banking (DSK Direct, DSK Direct for Business, Multicash).
  • Online card purchases.

 

Will the bank's offices with extended working hours work during this period?

Our offices in Serdika Center Sofia, The Mall Sofia, Mall Sofia, Grand Mall Varna, and Terra Center Gabrovo will not work with clients after 8:30 PM on August 2, as well as on August 3 and 4.

 

When will all services be restored?

All services are expected to be restored by 8:00 PM on August 3 (Saturday).


CARDS:

Can I withdraw money from my card?

Yes, АТМ withdrawals and payments with cards and digital wallets at physical POS terminals will be available.

 

Will I be able to change the limit on my card?

The service for changing card limits will be unavailable during the technical upgrade. For your convenience, please plan your card limits in advance.

 

If I need to block my card, for example if it is lost, how and where can I do it?

If your card is lost or stolen, please contact our Contact Center at *2375 / 0700 10 375. There may be delays in reaching the Contact Center during this period, so we appreciate your patience.

 

How can I add my card to Google Wallet or Apple Pay?

This service will be unavailable during this period. After the technical upgrade, you can add your card to a digital wallet through our mobile banking or directly via the wallet app with additional identification through the bank's dedicated webpage.

 

How can I reissue my card?

The reissue of debit or credit cards will be temporarily limited during the technical upgrade. You can request a reissue after all services are restored.


How can I activate a temporarily blocked card?

The service for activating temporarily blocked cards will be unavailable during the technical upgrade. For your convenience, please plan any necessary updates to the status of your bank cards in advance.

PAYMENTS:

Will I be able to make payments with my card and digital wallet at POS terminals?

Yes, payments with cards and digital wallets, such as Google Wallet and Apple Pay, at POS terminals in physical retail locations will be available.

 

Will I be able to make online card payments?

There may be disruptions when making online card payments during this period.

 

I couldn't pay online, what is the alternative?

There may be disruptions when making online card payments. Full functionality will be available after 8:00 PM on August 3 (Saturday). Please plan your banking operations in advance.

 

Can I receive transfers to my account in the meantime?

No, receiving transfers to your account will be temporarily unavailable during this period.

 

Will I be able to send money to a mobile number using Blink P2P?

The Blink P2P instant payment service will be temporarily restricted until the planned upgrade is completed.

 

Will utility bill payments be processed during this period?

Utility bill payments via electronic and mobile banking will be unavailable during the system upgrades.

 

Will I be able to transfer funds between my accounts?

Transferring funds between your accounts will be temporarily restricted during this period.

 

Can I shop at retail and online stores with a consumer loan?

The "Consumer Lending" service will not be available during the technical upgrade.

BALANCES AND NOTIFICATIONS:

How can I check my account balance or if I have received a transfer?

During the technical upgrade, you can check your account balance only through the "Account Balance Inquiry" service at ATMs, provided you have a bank card linked to the account. After all services are restored, you can also use DSK Bank's mobile and online banking.

 

Will I receive SMS notifications for transactions made with my bank card at ATMs and POS terminals during this period?

There may be disruptions in sending and receiving SMS notifications during this period.

 

Will I see account balance information and transaction details after the system upgrade?

Yes, after the system update is completed, you will have access to your financial information, including account balances and transaction details.

 

Is there any risk to my data during the upgrade?

Your personal and financial data will not be affected by the technical upgrade of our systems.
